New Breakthrough in Iran 300tpd Gold Flotation Project

Recently, another good news came from Iran Sharaf Abad 300t/d gold flotation project, the processing capacity reached to 350tpd, which was far higher than expected designed capacity (300tpd), so the annual output value was increased at least 10 million yuan. Since its official launch in September 2016, this project has attracted high attention from customers, local government and industry peers. This was also a milestone case of Xinhai mineral processing EPC service in the Middle East mining market.

A bit memory of this project in Iran always gives people deep feelings. In fact, Iran Sharaf Abad Company has obtained the exploration right and mining certificate of this gold project as early as in 2006. However, due to the large construction amount, the Iranian customers didn’t find the appropriate investor, so this project has been delayed so down. Until 2016, Jiangxi Geological Exploration Bureau decided to invest in this project and reached an agreement with Iranian customers.

In the plant construction section, Xinhai succeeded in winning the mineral processing EPC of this project by relying on its over twenty years of professional strength and project experience, including ore dressing test, mine design, equipment manufacturing, installation and debugging, standard reached. In May 2016, Xinhai engineers went to the site and conducted an inspection. In July 2016, Xinhai mineral processing laboratory recommended adopting “stage grinding – one stage gravity separation – stage flotation” process after the ore dressing test. The final products were gravity concentrate and flotation concentrate, the recovery rate was as high as 87%.

In the civil construction stage, the local cold climate brought a big challenge for the normal construction. Despite the bad weather, the pace of plant construction had not been affected. Xinhai technical engineers contacted with customers for many times, adjusted the construction plan and solved all kinds of problems in construction in time. All civil works are carried out in an orderly manner. With the joint efforts of two sides, the project was put into production in August 2017 within only 15 months. It created the fastest speed in Iranian non-ferrous metal mine construction and was known as “China speed” in “One Belt And One Road” by Iranian mining industry. And Xinhai was known in the whole of Iranian mining market, many people visited the project site for learning, then spoke highly of plant layout, equipment quality and technology.
