Seven Suggestions to Improve the Production Capacity of Cone Crusher


High-capacity and high-efficiency crushing equipment is the pursuit of every user, but in addition to the crushing equipment itself, the operation in production is also closely related to the crushing equipment efficiency. Taking cone crusher as an example, here are seven suggestions that improve the efficiency of cone crusher and obtain the large production capacity.
1. Adjust the size of discharge port on the closed side to change the output of cone crusher
Actually, the output of the cone crusher can be adjusted through the size of discharge port on the closed side.
The larger the size of discharge port is,the higher output of cone crusher can get, and the worse quality of the finished product is. On the contrary, the smaller the size of discharge port is,the less output of cone crusher can get, and the better quality of the finished product is. So, the cone crusher can be adjusted according to the actual needs of mineral processing plants.
2. Uniform feeding of belt conveyor
When feeding, the belt conveyor is required to feed materials evenly. And the materials should meet the crushing requirements of cone crusher. Both too much and too little feeding will affect the production efficiency of the cone crusher.
In addition, the cone crusher operator needs to pay close attention to the discharging condition of the discharge port,control the feeding speed of the belt conveyor and ensure the normal feeding and discharging of the cone crusher.
3. Crowded feeding
When installing the feeding equipment, please pay attention to the speed and corresponding drop of ore entering the cone crusher. Usually, due to the speed of the belt conveyor is constant, the height of the ore drop is the only one factor that can be changed. During the crowded feeding, please pay attention to the feeding cannot be more or less, and the height of the ore pile in the feeding equipment should be controlled.
4. Prevent the fine ore from entering the cylinder liner, prolong the service life of seal ring
When replacing the liner plate, it is necessary to test the dustproof seal ring of movable vertebrae. Normally, when the wear gap between the dustproof seal ring and the sliding ring is greater than 1.5 mm, the dustproof seal ring should be replaced to prevent the fine ore from entering the cylinder liner then causing damage to the spindle and other parts. 
5. Keep a balanced lubricating oil temperature
The lubrication and heat dissipation of main lubricant housings of cone crusher (spindle, eccentric sleeve, eccentric shaft,frame bearing, spindle adjusting piston, sliding bearing surface, gear rotation)mainly rely on the lubrication system to complete, so it is very important to choose the right cooling and heat dissipation device.
6. Fix the bolt of dustproof sliding ring
If the accumulated materials on the beam are not cleaned in time, the bolts that fixes the sliding ring will move with the moving cone and produce the relative motion with the accumulated materials,which results in the wear of the bolt tail. If the sliding ring does not fix well, the cone crusher operator should carry on serious technical inspection to avoid the bad consequences caused by the falling off of sliding ring.
7. Regular inspection and maintenance to prolong the service life of cone crusher
1) Check the chiller, filter and oil pump of the cone crusher regularly and measure the oil temperature. In general, it is required that the oil return temperature should not exceed 60 degrees. Too high temperature is unfavorable to the cone crusher;
2) Check the drainage condition of cone crusher regularly. If there is no water or the water is too less, please stop the cone crusher in time; otherwise, it will seriously affect the cone crusher;
3) The cone crusher operator should check the oil pressure of the locking cylinder of the cone crusher every once in awhile, especially in the case of serious wear and tear of the lining plate, please pay more attention to the fixing bolt of the lining plate on the adjustment ring. Once loose, the lining plate will loose. For the newly changed lining board, it needs to be stopped and tightened once after working for 24 hours.
